Who We AreA personal consulting firm built with the same framework as the U.S. Military.
Romeo Echo was founded using an "Elite Team model" adopted by the United States Military to give people access to multiple subject matter experts across various fields working together to accomplish your overall goals / mission.

Forged in service.
Built for legacy.
Romeo Echo was initially built as a real estate company dedicated to helping veterans use and maximize their VA home loan entitlement. This came after the founder, Roland, used a program where he was supposed to be connected to a Military Expert Real Estate Professional, yet they had no clue of how the VA Home loan really works. Roland didn't know any better at the time because it was his first time buying a home. He found out afterwards it was just a program which Real Estate agents purchase "Veteran Homebuyer Leads" from this company.
That was where the initial vision started — to create a company that learned and mastered the VA to provide an exceptional service to military and Veterans, and wage war on all of the companies out there that viewed Veterans as their "Golden Ticket" to a commission check. Especially when those professionals claimed to specialize in helping Veterans yet never served themselves.
In 2018 Romeo Echo was founded, and we quickly realized Veterans need so much more help beyond just real estate and their VA loan. Romeo Echo evolved into a full-fledged consulting company helping veterans with a number of different things — from transitioning out of the military successfully, getting your VA benefits, teaching important money concepts that should have been taught to us in school, to leveraging your benefits from the VA to create wealth with them. And lastly, teaching us how to protect everything we've worked so hard to build with insurance and living trusts.
Our goal is simple: to help you achieve everything you want after service.
Your legacy is built in the decisions made today.

Retired Marine. Continued purpose.
Roland Vandenberg
Roland Vandenberg is a retired United States Marine with 15 years of service as an Infantryman. His military career includes humanitarian operations in Haiti during Operation Unified Response and combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He concluded his service as a Station Commander with Marine Corps Recruiting Station Los Angeles, where he led, trained, and developed Marines to accomplish some of the nation's most demanding recruiting missions.
After retiring from the Marine Corps, Roland transitioned into real estate and quickly recognized the lack of experienced support for military families navigating the home buying process. Driven to solve that problem, he co-founded Romeo Echo — a purpose-driven real estate company dedicated to serving those who have served. Under his leadership, Romeo Echo was awarded Veteran Business of the Year by the County of Los Angeles.
While helping thousands of veterans and families with real estate, Roland realized a deeper challenge: too many American families are struggling financially — not because they aren't capable, but because they were never taught how money works. That insight led to the expansion of Romeo Echo into financial services — empowering veterans and civilians alike to build wealth, protect their families, and take control of their financial futures through education-first strategies.
Roland is passionate about saving lives and changing legacies. In 2018, he founded Operation Jump 22, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing veteran suicide through shared experiences and community outreach. His latest initiative — the Millionaire Child Campaign — is focused on helping parents secure generational wealth for their children through small, disciplined, and tax-advantaged actions.
Roland holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Michelle, now reside in New Braunfels, Texas, where they are raising their two children and continuing their mission to serve families across the nation.
